In a medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
Stir in the vanilla extract.
Place about 2 tablespoons of the cream cheese mixture and 2 tablespoons of the cherry pie filling in the center of each egg roll wrapper.
Fold the sides of the wrapper in, then roll up tightly. Brush with melted butter.
Place the egg rolls in an air fryer basket or on a baking sheet. Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 6-8 minutes, or bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
Serve immediately.
