This cheesy ham and potato casserole is a perfect dish for breakfast or dinner, packed with creamy cheese, savory ham, and tender potatoes.

  • 4 cups potatoes peeled and diced
  • 2 cups ham cubed
  • 1.5 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.25 cup butter melted

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine potatoes, ham, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  • In another bowl, mix milk, salt, pepper, and melted butter. Pour over the potato mixture and stir until well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.

Notes

For a crispier topping, you can add breadcrumbs to the top of the casserole before baking.
