Cheesy Bacon Cavatappi Pasta

A creamy, cheesy pasta dish featuring crispy bacon and perfectly cooked cavatappi. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner!

  • 8 oz cavatappi pasta
  • 6 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper

Preparation Steps

  • Cook the cavatappi pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crisp. Remove bacon and crumble.
  • In the same skillet, add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in cheddar cheese until melted.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and stir until well coated in the cheese sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Stir in the crumbled bacon and serve immediately.

Notes

For a touch of freshness, sprinkle some chopped parsley before serving.
