  • 0.75 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.5 tsp Baking powder
  • 0.25 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter Melted
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

Cheesecake Layer

  • 24 oz Cream cheese Softened
  • 0.75 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 2 tbsp All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

Caramel Topping

  • 1 cup Caramel sauce Store-bought or homemade

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch springform pan.
  • Prepare the brownie layer: In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. In a separate bowl, melt butter and mix in sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Combine wet and dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  • Pour brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  • Prepare the cheesecake layer: In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in flour and vanilla extract. Pour cheesecake batter over the brownie layer.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the cheesecake is set around the edges but slightly jiggly in the center. Let cool completely in the oven with the door ajar, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
  • Drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.

Notes

For best results, use high-quality caramel sauce. You can also add chopped nuts or chocolate chips to the brownie or cheesecake layer.
