Breakfast Sliders

Mini breakfast sandwiches made with scrambled eggs, cheese, and bacon or sausage on slider buns, perfect for a quick morning meal or brunch gathering.

Main Ingredients

  • 6 slider buns slider buns or small dinner rolls
  • 6 large eggs
  • 0.25 cup milk
  • 0.5 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices cooked bacon or 6 cooked sausage patties
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • sliced green onions or chives optional, for garnish

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat a skillet over medium heat and add butter. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and cook, stirring gently, until softly scrambled. Remove from heat and stir in half of the shredded cheese.
  • Slice the slider buns in half horizontally. If desired, lightly toast them in a toaster or oven.
  • Place a slice of cooked bacon or a sausage patty on the bottom half of each bun.
  • Top the meat with a portion of the scrambled eggs, then sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  • Cover with the top half of the bun. Serve immediately, garnished with green onions or chives if desired.

Notes

These breakfast sliders are great for meal prep—assemble ahead and reheat in the oven for a quick breakfast.
