  • 1 lb Sausage Cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 0.5 cup Chopped Onion
  • 0.25 cup Chopped Bell Pepper
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black Pepper
  • 6 slice Bread Cubed

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Add cooked sausage, cheese, onion, and bell pepper.
  • Stir in cubed bread. Pour mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until golden brown and set.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Feel free to add other vegetables like mushrooms or spinach. For a spicier casserole, use hot sausage or add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
