Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Add cooked sausage, cheese, onion, and bell pepper.
Stir in cubed bread. Pour mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until golden brown and set.
Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Feel free to add other vegetables like mushrooms or spinach. For a spicier casserole, use hot sausage or add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
