Bread pudding

A delicious and comforting bread pudding recipe.

  • 6 cups cubed bread
  • 4 cups milk
  • 0.75 cups sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon cinnamon

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together milk, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  • Add cubed bread to the milk mixture and gently toss to combine.
  • Pour bread mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the pudding is set and golden brown.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with a dusting of powdered sugar or a drizzle of caramel sauce.
