  • 1 cup Diced Potatoes
  • 1 tsp Salt

Preparation Steps

  • Season beef cubes with salt and pepper. Dredge in flour.
  • Sear beef in olive oil until browned on all sides.
  • Add onion and garlic; cook until softened.
  • Pour in beef broth, add carrots and potatoes. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for at least 2 hours, or until beef is tender.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use a combination of beef broth and red wine. You can also add other vegetables like celery, mushrooms, or peas.
