Beef Milanesa

A traditional Latin American dish, Beef Milanesa consists of thin slices of beef that are breaded and fried to a crispy golden perfection.

  • 1 lb beef round steak Thinly sliced
  • 2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 eggs Beaten
  • 1 cup vegetable oil For frying

Preparation Steps

  • Season the beef slices with salt and pepper.
  • Dredge each beef slice in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  • Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the beef slices until golden brown on each side.
  • Transfer to a paper-towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Serve hot.

Notes

Serve with lemon wedges and a side of salad for a complete meal.
