  • 1 lb Beef sirloin, thinly sliced Against the grain
  • 1 head Broccoli florets Cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 package Instant ramen noodles Discard seasoning packets or use low sodium option
  • 1 cup Soy sauce Low sodium
  • 1 cup Beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 2 Green onions, sliced For garnish
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds For garnish

Preparation Steps

  • In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and cornstarch.
  • Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned.
  • Add the broccoli florets to the skillet and cook until tender-crisp.
  • Pour the sauce over the beef and broccoli. Bring to a simmer and cook until the sauce thickens.
  • Prepare the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain the noodles and add them to the skillet with the beef and broccoli.
  • Toss everything together to coat the noodles with the sauce. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

Adjust the amount of soy sauce and brown sugar to your liking. For a spicy kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
