Ingredients
- 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/3 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 pound sirloin steak cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes
Instructions
Whisk balsamic vinegar, barbecue sauce, and Dijon mustard. Reserve 2 tablespoons for basting, toss steak with the rest, and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.
Thread steak and tomatoes alternately onto skewers. Lightly oil the grill grates with a paper towel held by long-handled tongs.
Grill over medium heat, covered, for about 8 to 9 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef reaches the desired doneness. Alternatively, broil about 4 inches from the heat for 6 to 9 minutes. Turn occasionally and baste with reserved marinade during the final 3 minutes.
Cut the steak and tomatoes into pieces of similar size for even cooking.
Use separate utensils for raw marinade and cooked food.
