Apple Walnut Chicken Salad

A delicious and refreshing salad with a delightful combination of flavors from apples, walnuts, and chicken.

  • 2 cups diced cooked chicken preferably grilled
  • 1 cup chopped apples use your favorite variety
  • 0.5 cup walnuts toasted and chopped
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt for a lighter option
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper freshly ground

Instructions
 

Preparation Steps

  • In a large bowl, combine diced cooked chicken, apples, and walnuts.
  • In a separate small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the dressing over the chicken mixture and toss to coat.
  • Chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 10 minutes before serving.

This salad can be served on its own, or as a filling for sandwiches or wraps.
