  • 1.5 pounds baby potatoes Red or yellow potatoes work best
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Extra virgin for best flavor
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Preparation Steps

  • Boil the potatoes until fork-tender, about 10-15 minutes.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place the boiled potatoes on a baking sheet and gently smash with the back of a fork.
  • Drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Arrange the potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Cook for 10-15 minutes, or until the potatoes are crispy and golden.
