Instructions
Preparation Steps
Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels to ensure crispiness.
In a large bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using) until evenly coated.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
Place the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each for even cooking. Work in batches if necessary.
Air fry for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until shrimp are pink and opaque with lightly golden edges.
Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
Notes
For extra flavor, serve with a side of cocktail sauce or garlic aioli.
