  • 1 medium Onion Sliced
  • 1 medium Green Bell Pepper Sliced
  • 8 oz Sliced Mushrooms Optional
  • 8 oz Provolone Cheese Sliced or shredded
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt To taste
  • 0.5 tsp Black Pepper To taste

Sauce Ingredients

  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • 0.5 cup Heavy Cream Optional, for extra creaminess

Preparation Steps

  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak, onion, and bell pepper. Cook until steak is browned and vegetables are tender, about 5-7 minutes. Add mushrooms if using.
  • Stir in garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour in beef broth and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly. Add heavy cream if using.
  • Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat. Top with provolone cheese. Cover and let cheese melt, about 2-3 minutes.
