7-Layer Dorito Taco Pie

A delicious and easy-to-make layered taco pie with a crunchy Dorito topping, perfect for any meal.

  • 1.5 lbs ground beef lean preferred
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bag nacho cheese Doritos crushed
  • 1 cup salsa

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Stir in taco seasoning and 1/4 cup water, then simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Layer half of the crushed Doritos in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Spread the taco meat over the Doritos, then layer with sour cream.
  • Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese over the sour cream layer.
  • Add a layer of salsa, then top with the remaining Doritos and cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

Let the pie cool for a few minutes before serving for the layers to set properly.
