5 Tips for Perfect Grilled Salmon Burgers with Avocado Salsa

Main Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb Salmon Fillet, skinless Chopped
  • 0.25 cup Panko Bread Crumbs
  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp Old Bay Seasoning
  • 4 Burger Buns

Avocado Salsa

  • 2 Avocados, diced
  • 0.5 Red Onion, diced
  • 1 Jalapeño, seeded and minced
  • 2 tbsp Cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Lime Juice

Instructions
 

Preparation Steps

  • In a large bowl, combine chopped salmon, panko, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and Old Bay seasoning. Mix well and form into 4 patties.
  • Preheat grill to medium heat.
  • Grill salmon burgers for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
  • While burgers are grilling, prepare avocado salsa by combining diced avocados, red onion, jalapeño, cilantro, and lime juice in a bowl. Gently toss to combine.
  • Serve salmon burgers on buns topped with avocado salsa.

Notes

These salmon burgers are also delicious pan-fried or baked. Feel free to add your favorite toppings!
