Instructions
Preparation Steps
Spread the refried beans evenly in the bottom of a 9-inch square or round serving dish.
Layer the guacamole on top of the refried beans, spreading it evenly.
Spread the sour cream over the guacamole layer.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the sour cream.
Top with salsa, spreading it gently to cover the cheese layer.
Garnish with sliced black olives and chopped green onions, if using.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow flavors to meld.
Serve with tortilla chips for dipping.
Notes
For best results, use full-fat sour cream and freshly made guacamole. This dip can be made up to 24 hours in advance.
