4th of July Trifle

A festive and delicious 4th of July trifle with layers of pound cake, berries, and whipped cream.

  • 1 box Pound cake mix Prepare according to package directions
  • 16 oz Whipped topping Thawed
  • 2 cups Fresh strawberries Sliced
  • 2 cups Fresh blueberries

Preparation Steps

  • Bake the pound cake according to package directions and let cool completely. Cut into 1-inch cubes.
  • In a large trifle bowl, layer half of the pound cake cubes, followed by half of the strawberries and half of the blueberries.
  • Spread half of the whipped topping over the berries.
  • Repeat layers with remaining pound cake, berries, and whipped topping.
  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Feel free to add other berries or fruits to this trifle. You can also use different types of cake or pudding.
