Ingredients
- 1 8 oz / 0.5 lb can crescent roll dough
- 8 breakfast sausages precooked or fully cooked
- ¼ cup 0.06 lb shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- 1 tablespoon 0.05 lb melted butter
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup optional, for brushing

Instructions
Step 1: Preheat the Oven
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

- Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles along the perforations.
Step 3: Assemble the Pigs in a Blanket
- Place a sausage at the wide end of each dough triangle.
